As both an editor and writer, Richelle approaches her work with an analytical eye for clarity and consistency, while maintaining the author’s voice and honoring the heart of the story. She enjoys speculative and literary fiction and is always eager to discover new subgenres and genre-blends.

With a bachelor's in psychology and a master's in education, her background includes over two decades of curriculum development and legal documentation in special education, work that required writing with precision, advocacy, and sensitivity. These experiences ultimately led her to pursue editing, earning her certification through the University of Chicago. She is also a proud member of the Editorial Freelancers Association.

Richelle believes that a manuscript is never just a document. It is about the author who poured themselves into it, the reader waiting on the other side of the page, and the story that lives between them.
